How can you turn any surface into a touch screen?
Make a screen touch-enabled without changing your equipment
You already have TVs, monitors or a video wall installed and you would like to control your display with your finger, just like on a tablet? Good news: there is no need to replace everything. An infrared touch frame sits in front of your existing screen and adds the touch function to it.
The principle is simple. The frame surrounds the panel and projects, across the entire surface, an invisible grid of infrared beams. As soon as your finger (or a stylus) breaks this grid, the position of the contact is detected and sent to the computer. This is how you turn any flat surface into a touch screen.
Our hands-on experience
We received, straight from the factory, our first 65-inch infrared frame delivered by a supplier. The test was a success: it is simple, quick to assemble and easy to use.
The next step is to validate a large 6 m² frame that will cover all 12 of our TVs, in order to make a complete video wall touch-enabled.
