Executive Seminar in Paris on 30 September: 40 places, no sales presentations
A control room is not designed from a catalogue. It is designed by listening to the people who spend their nights in it.
That is the whole point of the Executive Seminar held in Paris on 30 September 2026, from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm, organised by DG Advisory Global. Guy Condamine will take part alongside Chris Dreyfus-Gibson.
What makes this day different
Three rules, set by the organisers, completely change the nature of the discussions:
- No sales presentations. Nobody comes to sell. Not even us.
- Chatham House Rule. What is said in the room can be reused, but never attributed. In other words: you can finally talk about what did not work.
- 40 participants maximum, selected in advance.
When the head of a CTA (a French emergency call handling centre) can tell the story of a project that went wrong without any risk, everyone learns something. That is rare, and it is exactly what this profession is missing.
Who it is for
Security directors, COOs, operations directors, heads of CSU (urban CCTV monitoring centres), CODIS, CIC and SDIS (the French departmental fire and rescue services), GSOC, SOC and COS managers. Public and private sector mixed together, which is a good idea: an urban monitoring centre and an industrial crisis room often ask themselves the same questions without ever talking to each other.
The programme
The morning is built around three round tables: strategy, performance, technology. Networking lunch. In the afternoon, an Open Space session, then two round tables: vision and situational awareness.
Firefighters: it is the day after
On 29 September, many firefighters will be in Paris, place de la République. The seminar falls the day after: a chance to combine one useful trip with another, without travelling twice.
