CollectivView enters the ANSC crisis cockpit
Some installation days end with a coffee and a handshake. And then there is this one.
We have just installed CollectivView in the cockpit of the ANSC, the French Civil Security Digital Agency, the room from which France’s civil security digital systems are run. The system is entering a test phase.
One operator station, one wall
The demonstration is simple to describe, and that is exactly the point: a single operator station, three screens, and every business application sent up onto the video wall.
Milestone, Genetec, the other monitoring and security tools: everything is displayed and repositioned without having to rewire anything. What holds true for a crisis cockpit also holds true for a museum, a critical infrastructure site or a monitoring centre.

The calm before the storm
The end of the day was less peaceful than the start.
At 5:40 pm, just as we were about to walk out of the door, our contact turned back to switch the cockpit into crisis mode. Action stations: within seconds, eight to ten specialists had taken their places in the main room and in the adjoining room.
Those are exactly the seconds these rooms exist for. And those are exactly the seconds a video wall has to be ready for, without anyone having to think about it.

Today, government control centres using our technology cover close to 40% of the French population. Our technologies are deployed across close to 45% of the country.
For two craftsmen based in Montpellier, seeing your work take its place in a room like that remains a particular kind of feeling.
